This is coming to an end, so today I went to the MoMa. And it is absolutely stunning, not only for its collection, which includes jewels of Matisse, MirĂ³, Picasso, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Cezzane, Pollock and many others, if not the building itself. The artists that I have named and others that I forget now, and compensate for the visit, but the work of architect, Yoshio Taniguchi, is spectacular. Open spaces, the use of natural light, let me speechless.
Especially notable is the interior courtyard, covered with trees, sculptures and a small pond, where people relax listening to the water, or music, organizing concerts and some nights. Also the food is outstanding, you have restaurants where you can eat very well, and with breathtaking views of the courtyard, or eat well, with good views of the surrounding streets. As money becomes scarce I chose the second option, which was still $ 25, but ate very well.
So you know, one must visit, if any is not in this city. Tomorrow is my junior day, so I will relax for Central Park, and do some last purchase, if I have left, and plays on Saturday to pack ... :-(
