Second Hand Arsenal Season Tickets

Day 11 (or everything comes to an end)

DSCN9758, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today was the last full day in NY I can enjoy tomorrow play last-minute shopping and to pack, turn up early on Sunday. So I've relaxed enough, and have spent the morning and early afternoon in Central Park, knowing the parts of the north had not yet visited, and I think like everything else in this city, love.

After downloading the photos and a short rest at the hotel after the walk, I had to catch the ferry back to Staten Islade, but this time in the evening, and I think the pictures speak for themselves ... ;-)

last post in NY Tomorrow, we will soon ... :-)

Knee Brace Australian Open

Day 10 (or Art and more art)

DSCN9553, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

This is coming to an end, so today I went to the MoMa. And it is absolutely stunning, not only for its collection, which includes jewels of Matisse, MirĂ³, Picasso, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Cezzane, Pollock and many others, if not the building itself. The artists that I have named and others that I forget now, and compensate for the visit, but the work of architect, Yoshio Taniguchi, is spectacular. Open spaces, the use of natural light, let me speechless.

Especially notable is the interior courtyard, covered with trees, sculptures and a small pond, where people relax listening to the water, or music, organizing concerts and some nights. Also the food is outstanding, you have restaurants where you can eat very well, and with breathtaking views of the courtyard, or eat well, with good views of the surrounding streets. As money becomes scarce I chose the second option, which was still $ 25, but ate very well.

So you know, one must visit, if any is not in this city. Tomorrow is my junior day, so I will relax for Central Park, and do some last purchase, if I have left, and plays on Saturday to pack ... :-(

Cruise Spots In Miami

Day 9 (or animals!)

DSCN9493, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today has touched the Zoo, and the truth is it's pretty impressive. Like everything else in NY, I has been impossible to see it all, but what I've seen well worth. As in any good zoo, there is much quantity and diversity, albeit not expect great shows, because the animals to be food secure tend to touch the eggs rather , to get a picture of lion watching, it took me a long time. I also recommend not to go on Wednesday, as it is free, and say that was full is not enough, in some places it was impossible to get a good picture.

There are a couple of things I think should be improved, because once you go if you want to access certain areas have to make a larger payment, making the visit, including food, drink (that gets hot as you will lack enough), and tickets will put you in the $ 50 quietly. Anyway still highly recommended.
S'Mac
And for dinner, or, as the Lonely Planet guide, if you just want to do something must be done well. Basically there are hamburgers, but no bread and served in a skillet hot. I made the All-American Jack made with Vermont cheese, bacon and pasta ... delicious. That if there are four sizes, I took the second and I had to finish. And all this for less than $ 10, another essential ... ;-) Tomorrow

MoMa, this is already finished.

Flatbed Towing For Sale

Day 8 (or Give me your poor, your tired ...)

DSCN9305, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today I went to Staten Island on the ferry to see the statue, Manhattan and the harbor, and the truth is worth. It is a boat ride half an hour, and the views make up every minute. In the end I spent the morning between come and go, so I went to eat.

the afternoon was going to the Brooklyn Zoo, but the fact of falling asleep on the subway made me realize that I was pretty tired, so I went to the hotel, I took one nap a couple of hours and rest of the evening was dedicated to walk through Harlem. Unfortunately I had almost no battery, and could only do a few pictures, Teatro Apollo Inclusions. For dinner

a Korean, Cho Dang Goi, where I dined wonderfully. Yes the place looks run by the Korean mafia, if any, had a guy next to you like a bonnet. Unless another guy and me, the rest were all Korean, but well worth, if only to see how they present The letter ...

;-) Tomorrow, we'll see the zoo or the MoMA, I have still not sure ... ;-)

What's A Good Salon Interview

Day 7 (or as loaded a myth in two hours)

DSCN9193, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

the end, ignoring my sister, I went to Connie Island, and the truth is that it was worth. The place is a monument to its former glory, full of amusement rides in the 60, 70 and 80. It's like coming after in time, the years of the mafia in NY. Just to get on the Cyclone, the oldest rollercoaster in the USA, it is worth. It seems old and will not be so bad, but when it begins to rise, and up, and up ......... just breathtaking. And to eat a puppy at Nathan's Famous, I took one with bacon and cheese ..... would only be about 400 calories.

But the ride back I burned to spare. I went to Brooklyn and was touring the northern part of the neighborhood to the park is at the base of the bridge, to the typical photo. After crossing, which took me another while, in another walk today total about 5 / 6 hours ....

;-) And at night the Empire State Building ....... be disappointed, I explain in detail, first in line to enter the building, then another line where you try to sell the plane situation, the audio guide and the guide plane soundtrack history of the building to get to another queue where you buy the entrance, but the viewpoint of the floor 86, if you reach 100 you'll pay more, after that queue you make a picture like it or not, and then ...... tail to catch the elevator, but the elevator only takes you to the floor 80, missing 6 to the viewpoint and guess you have to do ....... queue to another elevator or walk up, which I did because it would still be there. After arriving at the gazebo, to stick to a site, as it is to overflowing, and people takes place not let go till you drop, which is logical after what we went through to get there. After being a while and get tired of trying to get sites and see that more people came out, I decided to leave, and of course, to lower the floor 80, or walk down tail, which I did, and reaching 80 the usual gift shop , and leaving the other store where you try to sell the picture you took down, after all this ............ queue to go down to the first floor. Only one thing better Rockefeller Center, has better views of the Chrysler Building, but nothing more. So my advice, look at them from outside is wonderful and stay with the big picture you have.

Fortunately, the night a little surprise in store for me, I went to dinner at BetterBurgerNYC, serving burgers biological and the truth is that they are really good. It's a bit more expensive than Burger King or McDonalds, but I myself eat a turkey burger with potatoes baked, not fried, spectacular, and it will not let you inject that sense of cholesterol in vein, I said, well worth.

;-) By the way, at the repeated requests, I put a picture where I see, but it will be the last ..... or not ;-)

Day 6 (walking or bursts)

DSCN9023, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today Sunday I woke up a little tired, so I have the longest ride since I arrived. I have traveled the Upper West Side, from the southwest corner of Central Park to Battery Park, and the truth is that the area is beautiful, also went through the Dakota apartments, where they killed a guy who had a group go out on a China ... ;-)

After I went to Battery Park Cathedral of Saint Paul, and a little farther to the northeast corner of Central Park, where I met a jazz concert. After this "little" walk, eat, and the rest of the afternoon dedicated to shopping. Tomorrow

except surprise, the MoMA, so you know pictures of pictures ... ;-)

What Toysrus Sale In Calgary?

Day 5 (or more rain and more museums)

DSCN8926, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today the day seemed to be lifted better, but after a while it started to rain, so I went to the MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art). All I can say is it's absolutely huge, I was up at 6 and saw only a small part. Since I had to choose, I focused on Oriental art, especially Japanese and Chinese, medieval weapons and armor, musical instruments and some Egyptian art, because they have a temple rescued before the creation of the Aswan Dam. To see the entire museum, I would not make a month, such is its size.

And at night, I went to Broadway and see a musical. There was clear to see but to reach Tkts saw the lineup of Chicago and I had no doubts. The music is really good, and the original script three or four numbers that are not in the movie ... And all that jazz

You know where there are more photos.

Day 4 (Happy Birthday America!)

DSCN8897, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

As you know today was Independence Day, unfortunately, has made the day pretty bad, so plans have been ruined. I spent the morning has to find special offers as the day it is, but the thrift stores, stoop no more, yet I bought two pairs of Converse All Star, for $ 70.

As it was raining the day I spent at the Natural History Museum, and the truth, just because Rex fossil that have exposed and it is worth. I stayed until it closed and I could only see a small part of the museum, so I focused on dinosaurs, animals and space. I leave the photos so you can see the amazing dioramas that have mounted.

was going to see the Macy's fireworks, but it was raining. So I chose a restaurant and went to celebrate the 4th of July. And it fell to Ropongi, or kitchen transformed into art. Japanese is an Amsterdam Avenue, and just to see the chef preparing the sushi bar 4 pieces that I asked is worth, plus the beef teriyaki was spectacular, a warning on the table there are only chopsticks, but if needed can be covered call.

You know where there are more photos.

Congratulation Letter For A New Baby Disablity

Day 3 (The 5 th Ave or shops to go crazy)

DSCN8759, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today I continued touring the Midtown, basically I visited the Garden, Grand Central Station and I have traveled the 5 th Avenue to see stores Zara, Gucci, Harry Winston, Louis Vuitton ... the list is endless. Some are incredible, the Disney store has decor that leaves you speechless, at the NBA store, you can find some wonderful things. I said, stores like to go crazy, but I have not bought, that I leave for the last days.

After lunch, I went for a walk around Central Park, but before I found the Apple Store ........... the store is amazing and you can find all sorts of extras for the iPod or iPhone, covers, helmets, caps, speakers ... the list is endless. A funny thing, some dependents went with a MacBook Air, where they could ask any question I asked.

Regarding Central Park, an oasis in the middle of a city of madness. I covered a small part, and it took me a couple of hours, so I'll come back another day to keep watching.

And as has become customary, a new restaurant for dinner. In this case, Blue Smoke, on Calle 27, just off Park Avenue. The dinner was in the midst Memphis Style pork ribs, which was delicious, and dessert pie of the day, it was blueberries and raspberries, accompanied by vanilla ice cream ....... I was about to mourn, Spectacular!. All this for $ 36, so we have to keep testing sites in the Lonely Planet.

As always, more Flickr photos.

What Can I Give An 11 Month Old Fordry Cough

Day 2 (How to travel from Italy to China across the street)

DSCN8671, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today I returned to Lower Manhattan, to see Little Italy and Chinatown, and I really do not disappoint. It's funny to walk down the street and pass People see the typical NY, to meet on a street where everything is written in Mandarin and 90% of people are Asian. The street is lined with shops where you can find anything and almost everything wrong, from handbags to perfumes and jewelry (I know someone who would go crazy so good).

If you follow a little later in Little Italy will enter another area full of color, red and green predominate clearly, and is full of restaurants, bars and shops with typical products, you can eat a pizza or buy a huge salami any shops, tourists also abound, so the streets are very full. Continuing along

Broadway, I came to Soho, where there are industrial style houses and shops, until I stopped to see stores. You have all kinds of clothes and shoes, worth visiting quietly, yes, I know prices.

If you keep going, you get to Greenwich Village, a place that will never want to leave NY. Looks like you're in another city, low houses, a tranquility and lots of trees. It is worth taking your time and go very quiet area, shops, bars, houses and streets that fall in love. It's the hippest neighborhood in the city and it shows, if I can go on Saturday to take a brunch (thanks for the recommendation Ruth), and I will tell such ... ;-)

On the evening I went to Times Square and the truth is that impressive, I used to climb before dusk to Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center, and the views are breathtaking, Brooklyn, Empire State lit is a marvel. The elevator takes 45 seconds to climb 70 floors and the roof of it is transparent, amazing ...

As always, more photos on Flickr.

Manfrotto Landscape Head

Day 1 (Ah, but what Manhattan is ground?)

DSCN8481, originally uploaded by Paul Moran .

Today I started to kick the city, and walking I've done most of the Lower Manhattan, I have not gone yet China Town or Little Italy. And the first impression is that this city will exceed all is enormous, and yet you can see how the city has evolved from the Dutch colony that was.

I did the tour guide suggested in National Geographic, but adding some things that I think it should be. I started at the tip of Manhattan, Battery Park and from there I went up to City Hall. Through Ground Zero (I put a photo on Flickr where you should not see what there is, but what is not), the NY Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, Federal Reserve, the Woolworth building, etc ... I started around 10, stopping to eat and take a couple of cold coffee, I came to 6 in the evening, about 6 / 7 hours walking to and he gets to be the first day ... ;-)

After a brief stop at the hotel, to download the photos (the first day I've done 80), a break and walk a little to Times Square and dinner at Virgil's Real Barbecue (recommended in Lonely Planet) where you eat really well and for little money, my dinner over a beer, coca and coffee ... $ 21, gratuity included, recommend that if two people go, the portions are quite large and left almost rolling.

's eleven now, I'll see something in the ordenata and go to sleep, tomorrow I expect another very interesting walk, I leave the address Filckr, where I have uploaded more photos of the first day ...

See you tomorrow ...
